About Us

Jeanette Skelton has over 10 years experience in organizing both large and small scale events in Australasia . After moving to Phuket in April 2005 she saw a gap in the market for bespoke weddings, upmarket corporate offsites and sophisticated events and a year or so later formed "Luxury Events Phuket".

Jeanette Skelton continues to consult part time as the PR & Event Manager for the Royal Phuket Marina and is pivotal in promoting it as Asia 's premier lifestyle destination for leisure and living.

Jeanette was instrumental in setting up Alibi, one of Hong Kong 's most hip bar/restaurants. Prior to that she was the Marketing and Public Relations Director for BB's Bar & Brasserie, also based in Hong Kong . She also worked as a Special Events Director for the cutting-edge 97 Group of restaurants in the territory, and she has given her unique skill set to philanthropic causes, having worked as the Events Director for the Society for Aids Care for many years.

In the early 90's, she ran her own event company out of Sydney making several donations to the gay community. She is a former model, legal clerk, world travel and style guru, and is a major contributor to the LUXE city guides. Born and raised in New Zealand , Jeanette is proud of her Maori heritage but has lived in New Zealand , Australia , Hong Kong , Greece and now Thailand and has an incredible network all over the world which fits well with her gregarious nature and her love of unique cultural experiences.
