Bride and groom Ellen and Alon, who live in China and Hong Kong, celebrated their Jewish wedding over the course of three days in and around Phuket, Thailand.
On the first day of the wedding, the wedding party and guests went on a unique boat trip to the island of Ko Phi Phi, and, on the second day, they held a fun party at Bliss Beach Club, with music provided by DJ Mike de Peet. de Peet had flown in from Belgium, the couple’s home country, especially for the event!
On the third day, the couple had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, with the hora being danced afterwards. The dance made for fantastic photographs, like that of the bride with her skirt being held by many of the guests.
The wedding itself was staged at a stunning villa (La Colline) overlooking Bangtao Beach in Phuket, and was planned by the dynamic Jeanette Skelton at Luxury Events Phuket, who also provided floral arrangements. Ellen and Alon flew in their rabbi, Rabbi Aouizerate, to conduct the ceremony. Neil Donkin provided makeup and hair.
